2000s
By the 2000s, Rubins introduced canoes, kayaks, and boats into her sculptural vocabulary, arranging them into airborne forms that towered over public sites such as New York City's Lincoln Center and The Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego, while continuing new iterations of her Airplane Parts series.
