MoMA & Airplane Parts is a series of site-specific sculptures composed of discarded airplane parts and steel cable. Each installation reconfigures salvaged materials in response to the architecture and context of the site.

Created for MoMA's PROJECTS exhibition, the original installation transformed the Garden Hall Gallery into a dynamic field of suspended airplane parts that reoriented visitors' experience of the space.

Reconfigured for Jean Nouvel's transparent architecture, the sculpture responded to a new set of spatial conditions while preserving the tension and precarious balance of the original installation.

Installed within the historic Forte Belvedere, the work entered into dialogue with the fortress's Renaissance architecture and panoramic setting above Florence.
